Brothels
and Bordellos in Nevada
Las Vegas is primarily know its
casinos, but is also historically known for its
brothels or "bordellos" as they are
sometimes called. Brothels are illegal in the
city of Las Vegas - in fact, they're illegal within
Clark County, the county in which Las Vegas resides.
Illegal prostitution around Las Vegas is usually
available - but not recommended for many reasons.
You are subject to arrest (if you are caught in
a police sting), can catch a variety of diseases
(I won't even begin to tell you), or can become
a victim of a crime (Robbery, Assault, etc). As
if those are not enough reasons, you can expect
to spend just as much, if not more, than if you
were to visit a legal brothel.
Legal prostitution or brothels
closest to Las Vegas are about 60 miles north-west,
in Nye County. Women who work in brothels must
be licensed and are tested for diseases every
week. Brothels are also in areas like Carson City,
Reno or even northern Nevada: Winnemucca, Battle
Mountain, Elko, Wells.
Transportation to the brothels
can be arranged if you don't have wheels. Some
of them claim to provide "free" shuttles
or limos, but beware, expect to pay a large "tip"
to the driver. I've heard that 8 guys packed in
a limo paid $100 per person for a ride to an establishment.
Or if the brothel claims it's free, the ride is
usually worked into the price of the services
rendered.
Once you arrive, you'll probably
have to ring a doorbell to be let into the brothel.
After your entrance, the Madame may ask you to
relax and take a seat. Several woman will then
enter the room in a "lineup"
- This is where you select the girl of your choice.
She will escort you to her room where you'll then
be asked to review the "menu"
- a listing of the services available. Based on
your request, the woman will give you a price
- which is usually negotiable. If there is a deal
made, you continue with the transaction, otherwise
you can request to see another lineup and choose
a different girl. When a deal is reached, be prepared
to pay the agreed amount. Some small talk usually
takes place as you begin to undress. The woman
will usually inspect your genital area for visible
signs of disease, then proceed to gently wash
it. You can then proceed fulfilling your transaction.
One can expect to pay a minimum of $150 per hour
and upwards of thousands. An average deal seems
to be in the $300 range. The amount you pay depends
on several variables:
* The location you choose
* Who you choose from the lineup
* What you choose from the menu
* The amount of time you wish to spend with your
mate.
* Your negotiating skills
* The presentation of yourself - (Do you look
like you have money)
Women are usually required to
stay at the brothel for weeks at a time and usually
get 50% of the sales they bring in for the day.
Each woman usually pays a set amount per day for
room and board as well as food. I've read that
some brothels wire the rooms with listening devices
- to protect the women, and to make sure they
are being productive. The devices also provide
security for the brothel - that the women are
not stealing from the brothel by telling them
they received less than they really did.
