Las Vegas Airfare

Our Trip: Northwest Airlines. Baltimore-Washington International to Minneapolis, (layover) Minneapolis to Las Vegas. $212 Round Trip. An average fare seems to be in the $300 - $400 range.

Our Next Trip: Our latest trip took us from Philadelphia International to Minneapolis, and Minneapolis to Las Vegas. (Layover's are better for us so we can stretch our legs). $359 Round Trip. The tickets were considerably more than our last trip.

Tips: Be sure to try to book an evening flight into Las Vegas. I find the arrival into Las Vegas with millions of lights glimmering in the middle of the desert always entertaining. Arrive at the airport and Las Vegas greets you like no other - Slot machines within feet of the arrival gate. Upon arrival, you pickup your luggage and wait for a shuttle to your hotel. The shuttles cost $4.00 for hotels on the strip and $5.00 for downtown hotels.

Extra Tip: If you are headed there soon, try going getting some cheap airfare through Priceline.com. Click on the banner above, it's worth a shot. Also I recommend www.cheaptickets.com
